Cradle Moon Photos Entrance Fee

The entrance fee (conservancy fee) for Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge is R50 per person for day visitors[1][5][7]. This fee grants you access to the premises, but all activities are individually priced in addition to the entrance fee.

Popular activities and their indicative individual prices include:

  • Mountain Biking, Trail Running, Hiking, Swimming, Paddling, Fly Fishing: R100 per person for each activity[3]
  • Canoe or MTB Hire: R100 each[3]
  • Guided Summit Hike (20km): R200 per person (minimum 4 hikers, does not include entrance fee)[3]
  • Game Drives: 2–4 guests R550 per person, 5–8 guests R475 per person (does not include entrance fee, booking required)[3]
  • Boat Cruises: 4–10 guests R300 per person, 11–24 guests R250 per person (does not include entrance fee, booking required)[3]

Food and drinks cannot be brought on site, as the venue has its own restaurant and bar with lakeside views[1]. The lodge is well-known for its picturesque setting, tranquil lake, walking trails, abundance of wildlife, and numerous recreational activities for individuals and families[2][4].

To capture personal photos of your visit, the entrance and activity fees apply as above. If you are planning a professional photo shoot, you should contact Cradle Moon directly to inquire about additional fees or permits that may be required for organized photography sessions, as such rules are common at nature conservancies. General visitors, however, are free to take personal photos throughout the property[1].
