Green Point Park has no entrance fee. It is free to enter, seven days a week. The park is open daily from 07:00 to 19:00 and is run by the City of Cape Town as public open space.

What Is Free Inside
The biodiversity garden, wetlands, walking paths, picnic lawns, outdoor fitness equipment and children’s play areas are all included at no charge. There is no ticket gate.
A Genuinely Free Cape Town Outing
Green Point sits between the stadium and the promenade, within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront. Given that the cableway costs R475 for an adult return and the aquarium R265, it is one of the few substantial Cape Town attractions that costs nothing at all.
What Does Cost Money
Parking in the surrounding streets and at the stadium is charged, and events held on the common are ticketed separately. The park itself remains free on ordinary days.
