The R195 band covers three groups: pensioners aged 65 and over, students with a valid South African card, and young people aged 14 to 17. The R120 child rate applies only to ages 4 to 13, so a 14-year-old pays R195 rather than the child price.
The After 3 Special
Arriving from 3pm during South African school terms saves R65 on an adult ticket. The discount is sold at the on-site ticket office rather than online, and it applies to term-time weekdays rather than school holidays.
Free Entry in Your Birthday Month
South Africans enter free during their birthday month on production of SA ID. This is a month-long window, not a single day, which makes it one of the more generous birthday concessions in the country.
Concession Conditions
The pensioner rate applies from age 65, higher than the age 60 used by most South African attractions, and ID may be requested on the day. Students need a valid South African student card and pay the same R195.
Group Bookings
Buying ten or more day tickets earns a 10% discount, excluding under-4s who are already free.
