The Three Rondavels entrance fee is R48 for South African adults with ID, R54 for SADC nationals and R104 for foreign nationals. Children pay R32, R37 and R69 respectively. This is a conservation levy charged per person per day by the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency.
The Three Rondavels viewpoint looks over the Blyde River Canyon and is one of the paid stops on the Panorama Route.

It Is Charged Per Person, Per Day
The levy is per person per day, not per vehicle. A family of two adults and two children at the South African rate pays R160 for the stop.
Each Panorama Route Viewpoint Charges Separately
There is no single Panorama Route ticket. God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes each charge their own levy, so a full day along the route means paying several times.

Bring Identification
The South African rate requires ID and the SADC rate a passport. Without proof you are charged the foreign national rate, which is more than double the local price.
A Levy Increase Is Coming
MTPA has announced revised tariffs taking effect 1 November 2026, which raise this site’s South African adult levy by a few rand. The figures above are the rates currently in force under the schedule effective 12 December 2025. We will update them when the new schedule applies.
