The God’s Window entrance fee is R37 for South African adults with ID, R43 for SADC nationals and R81 for foreign nationals. Children pay R32, R37 and R58 respectively. It is a conservation levy charged per person per day by the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency.
God’s Window is the best-known viewpoint on the Panorama Route, looking east over the Lowveld escarpment.

At R37 for a South African adult, God’s Window is less than half the cost of Bourke’s Luck Potholes at R80. Only Pinnacle Rock is cheaper.

Note on the Foreign Rate
The foreign national rate is listed as including pensioners — there is no separate senior concession for international visitors. South African and SADC visitors are charged the standard adult rate regardless of age.
What the Levy Covers
The levy covers access to the viewpoint and its walkways for the day. It is charged per person, not per vehicle, and does not cover the other Panorama Route sites.
A Levy Increase Is Coming
MTPA has announced revised tariffs taking effect 1 November 2026, which raise this site’s South African adult levy by a few rand. The figures above are the rates currently in force under the schedule effective 12 December 2025. We will update them when the new schedule applies.
