The Bourke’s Luck Potholes entrance fee is R80 for South African adults with ID, R91 for SADC nationals and R173 for foreign nationals. Children pay R37, R48 and R81 respectively. It is a conservation levy charged per person per day by the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency.
Bourke’s Luck Potholes sits at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur rivers inside the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, and is the most expensive individual stop on the Panorama Route.

The All Access Pass Is Usually Cheaper
If you plan to see more than two Panorama viewpoints, the reserve’s All Access conservation levy at R161 for a South African adult covers the whole Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve. Paying Bourke’s Luck, Three Rondavels, God’s Window and Pinnacle Rock separately comes to R197.

Charged Per Person, Per Day
The levy is per person per day, not per vehicle. Two adults and two children at the South African rate pay R234 for this stop alone.
Bring Identification
The local rate needs South African ID and the SADC rate a passport. Without proof you pay the foreign rate — more than double.
