Kruger National Park — Entrance Fee Per Person

Summary (current tariff period: 1 November 2025 – 31 October 2026)

  • South African citizens & residents (ID or driver’s licence required): Adults (12+): R134 / day; Children (2–11): R67 / day. (SANParks)
  • SADC nationals (passport required): Adults: R275 / day; Children: R137 / day. (SANParks)
  • International (non-South African) visitors: Adults: R602 / day; Children: R300 / day. (SANParks)

What “per person” means

These charges are the SANParks daily conservation fee charged per person for each day inside Kruger National Park (day visitors and overnight guests are subject to conservation fees). If you enter and stay multiple days, the fee is normally applied per person per day. (SANParks)

ID / documentation required

  • South African citizens/residents must present a valid ID (or driver’s licence where specified) to claim the local rate. International visitors must present a passport; SADC nationals must present passports to qualify for the SADC rate. Gate staff may check documentation on arrival. (SANParks)

Booking & pre-paid day visits

  • Day visits can be booked in advance; pre-booked day visits must be paid in advance (or at booking), and there is an advance-booking fee for pre-booked day visits in some cases. Wild Card holders entering via an advanced booking may still need to pay the booking fee. Check SANParks Online Bookings for gate-specific rules. (SANParks)

Wild Card and discounts

  • SANParks offers a Wild Card (annual pass) and other loyalty options. Wild Card pricing and types are listed on SANParks’ site — a valid Wild Card can remove or reduce daily conservation fees depending on the card type and park access rules. (SANParks)

Notes & useful practical facts

  • These tariffs are the official SANParks rates for the 2025/26 tariff period (1 Nov 2025 – 31 Oct 2026). SANParks publishes a PDF of the park-specific daily conservation fees and updates them annually; always check SANParks before travel for any changes, special seasonal notices or temporary measures (festive-season rules, promotions, or gate-specific instructions).
