The entrance fee for a guided tour at Katse Dam’s visitor center is M30 per person (Lesotho Maloti), which is approximately equal to R10 (South African Rand)[6]. Guided tours of the dam wall are offered at 9 am and 2 pm on weekdays, and at 9 am, 11 am, and 2 pm on weekends and holidays[6]. Children, scholars, and tertiary students pay five maloti, while children younger than six years old can join for free[1]. There is no entry fee just to drive across the dam or visit the site outside guided tours[7].
