Nauyaca Waterfalls Entrance Fee

Nauyaca Waterfalls has two main entrance options, each with its own fee structure and transport choices[1][2][3][5]:

  • Don Lulo’s Entrance:

    • Hiking both ways: $10 USD per person
    • 4×4 truck transport both ways: $32 USD per person
    • Horseback riding tour: $80 USD per person
    • Car parking: $4–5 USD
  • Nauyaca Waterfall Nature Park:

    • Hiking down & trolley ride up: $28 USD per person ($25 per child 3-12 years)
    • Trolley round trip (transport both ways): $38 USD per person ($35 per child 3-12 years)
    • Entry for Costa Rican nationals: 10,000–13,000 colones depending on option
    • Parking is included with Nature Park entrance tickets
  • Discounts: Children get a $3 USD discount (Don Lulo’s) or reduced price (Nature Park). Locals pay different prices[1][3].

The main differences are price and mode of access. Don Lulo’s is the original entrance and offers the lowest hiking fee, while Nauyaca Waterfall Nature Park features better facilities and trolley service, but at a higher cost[5].
