Langebaan Beach is situated within the West Coast National Park, so a daily conservation or entrance fee is required upon entry.
The entrance fees for 1 November 2024 – 31 October 2025 are as follows:
- South African Citizens and Residents: R78 per adult (12+ years), R39 per child (2–11 years)
- SADC Nationals: R123 per adult, R61 per child
- International (non-South African) Citizens: R128 per adult, R64 per child
During the flower season (August & September), these rates increase:
- South African Citizens and Residents: R116 per adult, R58 per child
- SADC Nationals: R179 per adult, R89 per child
- International (non-South African) Citizens: R272 per adult, R136 per child
Entry is free with a valid SANParks Wild Card.[1][2]
There is a non-refundable advance reservation fee of R50 per adult and R25 per child if booking ahead, which is additional to the conservation/entrance fee.[3]
Langebaan town’s main public beaches (outside the park boundary) may be freely accessible, but the most popular and scenic beaches—such as Kraalbaai—require entry via the park and thus payment of the above fees.[2]
