A beautiful 70-meter-high waterfall creates an amazing backdrop to a 25-hectare botanical garden, landscaped in a naturalistic African style using only South African indigenous plants. Black eagles breed on the cliffs alongside the Witpoortjie waterfall, along with an extensive array of bird species that can be seen on the property. A short but popular 3-kilometer hiking trail is available, as well as many shorter walks and trails through the natural areas. Adjoined by a 300-hectare nature reserve, the garden is open to the public 7 days a week.
