Petra Jordan Entrance Fee

The entrance fee for Petra varies depending on your visitor status and length of visit:

  • Tourists staying at least one night in Jordan: 1-day entry is 50 JD, 2-day entry is 55 JD, and 3-day entry is 60 JD[3].
  • Tourists visiting Petra on a day trip without staying overnight in Jordan: 1-day entry is 90 JD[3].
  • Arriving from the border on your first day in Jordan: Fee is initially 90 JD, but if you stay overnight, you can reclaim 40 JD the next day, making the effective price 50 JD[1][3].
  • Children under 12: Free entry[1].
  • Jordanian citizens: 1 JD; foreign residents of Jordan: 10 JD; nationals of other Arab countries: 30 JD[1].
