Kruger National Entrance Fee

Kruger National Park entrance fees are charged per person per day and vary by nationality and age. From 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, the rates are as follows:

  • South African citizens & residents:
    • Adults (12+ years): R128 per day
    • Children (2–11 years): R64 per day
    • Infants under 2 years: Free
  • SADC (Southern African Development Community) nationals:
    • Adults: R257 per day
    • Children (2–11 years): R128 per day
  • International visitors:
    • Adults: R535 per day
    • Children (2–11 years): R267 per day

All fees are payable daily and proof of citizenship or residency is required to qualify for local or SADC rates (passport or South African ID). No extra discounts apply for pensioners or seniors; however, specials on accommodation may be available so always inquire when booking[1][2][4].

Wild Card membership can offer unlimited entry to Kruger and other SANParks reserves for an annual fee. This is often more cost-effective for frequent visitors or those planning an extended stay[2].

Pre-booking your entry pass is recommended, especially during peak periods. Payment can be made by card at the entrance gates[8]. A 1% community fund levy is also added to accommodation and activity bookings[4].
