Hofburg Entrance Fee

The main entrance fee to visit the Hofburg Palace’s Sisi Museum and Imperial Apartments is €20.00 for adults. Reduced rates are available for certain groups: €12.00 for children aged 6–18 and €18.00 for students (19–25) and disabled visitors (valid proof required). Children under 6 enter free[8].

The ticket includes entry to both the Sisi Museum and the Imperial Apartments, as well as an audio guide (available in 13 languages) at no extra cost[5]. Tickets can be purchased directly at the entrance or online. Note that each section of the Hofburg may have different ticketing policies, and combination tickets with other attractions (like Schönbrunn Palace or the Vienna Furniture Museum) are also available for a higher fee[2].

Access to the grounds and public courtyards of the Hofburg is free, making these areas popular for locals and tourists to stroll without charge[1].

The Hofburg is easily accessible by public transport, with dedicated entrances and facilities for visitors with disabilities[5]. Holders of the Vienna Pass or Vienna City Card may receive discounts or free entry for certain sections[2].
