The entrance fee for the Hartbeespoort Dam Snake and Animal Park (also referred to as Hartebees Zoo) is R175 per adult and R80 per child between the ages of 3 and 12. Children under 3 years enter free^[5]. The park is open daily from 8:00 AM, including public holidays and school holidays^[5].

For school groups, discounted rates apply: nursery learners pay R24, primary school learners R30, and high school learners R45. Accompanying educators pay R55, and parents R100 for group visits. For every 25 learners, one teacher can enter for free^[1].
