Free Entry on Fridays

South African students and pensioners enter free on Fridays with valid ID. Selected Iziko museums also open free on commemorative days. This is the single biggest saving available across the Iziko network.

One Rate Card Across Iziko Museums

Iziko applies the same standard rate to the South African Museum, Slave Lodge, National Gallery, Bo-Kaap Museum, Old Town House, Rust en Vreugd and Bertram House. The Planetarium and Digital Dome is priced higher and separately.

Children Under 5

Children under 5 enter free at the standard museums. The Planetarium is the exception — children aged 2 and over occupying a seat pay the full child rate.
